Water softener systems
A water softener removes the calcium and magnesium that leave scale. We test your hardness first, write down the target, and retest after the install.

Drinking water
Reverse osmosis under the kitchen sink gives you drinking and cooking water from its own faucet. We measure the difference in writing.
Drinking water·What changes

Where we work
We install in Denver, Aurora, Thornton, Westminster, Arvada, Broomfield, Lakewood, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Parker, Castle Rock and the surrounding Front Range. Every install includes the before and after test at your own taps, measured the same way both times.

An RO membrane holds back most dissolved solids, which makes it the right tool for lead, PFAS, nitrate, arsenic, uranium and sodium, along with the general mineral taste that shows up in coffee and ice.
It is a drinking water solution, not a house solution. It treats the one faucet it feeds. Your shower, dishwasher and water heater see exactly what they saw before, which is why a scale complaint is a softener conversation and a taste complaint is this one.
Carbon does the last step. A polishing filter after the tank handles whatever is left that affects taste on the way to the faucet.
RO sends a concentrate stream to the drain while it makes clean water, and modern membranes are far more efficient at this than older ones. It runs while the tank refills, not continuously.
Household pressure matters. Low incoming pressure means slower production and a less efficient membrane, and on a well with a pressure tank we check that before promising flow at the faucet.
A stored tank gives you full flow when you fill a pot. Tankless systems save cabinet space and produce on demand. We fit whichever suits the cabinet and how much water you draw at once.
Sediment and carbon prefilters are the routine change, the membrane lasts considerably longer, and the polishing filter goes with the prefilters. We give you the schedule and the cartridge cost up front, because a cheap system with expensive proprietary cartridges is not cheap.
If you would rather have proof than a schedule, use a TDS meter: your tap against the RO faucet. When the gap narrows, something is due.
What's included
Every install includes the licensed plumber, the before test and the after test. We quote once we've measured, because the reading decides the size.
The number we have to hit
85% or more TDS reduction, guaranteed. Agreed in writing before we install, measured the same way afterwards.

We'll tell you if you don't need it
If you're only bothered by the chlorine taste, a simple under-sink carbon filter may be enough. It's our lowest-priced package, and we'll say so.
Frequently asked·Reverse osmosis drinking water
Some. An RO membrane sends a stream of concentrate to the drain as it makes clean water. Modern systems are far more efficient than older ones, and it only runs when the tank is refilling.

Most Front Range utilities disinfect with chlorine or chloramine. Whole-home catalytic carbon takes it out before it reaches any tap or shower.

Every well is different, so we start with a certified lab test. The result tells us what to build and sets the targets we have to hit.

Some things can't be measured at the tap. A certified lab test answers questions about lead, PFAS, bacteria and wells, and the cost is credited toward an install.
