Water testing and treatment for Denver and the Front Range

We test your water, tell you what the numbers mean, and install the system that fixes it. Every system has a number it has to hit at your tap — measured before and after — or you get your money back.

From test to install in 3 steps

A water company, not a sales appointment

No color-changing drops, no demonstrations, no two-hour pitch at your kitchen table. Measurements, what they mean, and a straight answer about whether you need anything at all.

We test your water

At your kitchen tap, with calibrated instruments — titration for hardness, a photometer for chlorine, a meter for TDS. You get the readings in writing, with the date and the method.

We tell you what it means

Your numbers against what your utility publishes, and what actually changes if you fix it. If the test says you don't need anything, that is what we tell you.

A licensed plumber installs it

We agree the target in writing first. After the install we retest the same taps the same way, so you can see the before and after side by side.

What we install

Complete water treatment for Front Range homes

Water softeners, whole-home carbon filtration, reverse osmosis drinking water, well water systems and certified lab testing. Each one has a number it has to hit at your tap.

Water softener systems

A water softener removes the calcium and magnesium that leave scale. We test your hardness first, write down the target, and retest after the install.

Hardness under 1 grain per gallon, guaranteed

A whole-house carbon filtration tank and sediment pre-filter mounted in a utility space

Whole-home carbon filtration

Most Front Range utilities disinfect with chlorine or chloramine. Whole-home catalytic carbon takes it out before it reaches any tap or shower.

Total chlorine under 0.1 ppm, guaranteed

Explore service
An under-sink reverse osmosis system with filter housings and a storage tank inside a kitchen cabinet

Reverse osmosis drinking water

Reverse osmosis under the kitchen sink gives you drinking and cooking water from its own faucet. We measure the difference in writing.

85% or more TDS reduction, guaranteed

Explore service
A well water treatment line: sediment, softener and carbon tanks with an ultraviolet lamp

Well water treatment systems

Every well is different, so we start with a certified lab test. The result tells us what to build and sets the targets we have to hit.

Targets set by your certified lab result

Certified lab water testing

Some things can't be measured at the tap. A certified lab test answers questions about lead, PFAS, bacteria and wells, and the cost is credited toward an install.

About ClearGen·Front Range, Colorado

Built for people who are tired of being sold to

Water treatment has a reputation problem, and it is earned. Free tests that are really sales appointments. Demonstrations staged to produce a reaction rather than a reading. Guarantees that turn out to cover the tank, not your water. We built ClearGen to do the opposite of all three.

  • Installed by a licensed plumber — on open-platform valves, so any plumber can service them in year eight.
  • We measure, we don't demonstrate — calibrated instruments and a certified lab, and you keep the written readings.
  • We guarantee a result, not a tank — a number your water has to hit, agreed in writing before we install.
  • We say no — we don't sell softeners in Boulder, Longmont, Fort Collins, because those cities publish soft water.

The guarantee

Every system has a number it has to hit

Most guarantees in this industry are equipment warranties — they promise the tank won't fail. Ours promises your water changes, measured the same way before and after.

Frequently asked·Answers to your questions

Questions we get before the first visit

Is the water test a sales pitch?

No color-changing drops, no demos and no two-hour pitch. We use calibrated meters, your utility's own water report and a certified lab for health contaminants and wells. You get a written report with your address, the date and the method.

Isn't Denver water fine?

It's treated and safe to drink. What most people notice is the taste and smell of the disinfectant. The test shows what's actually in your tap, and if there's nothing to fix, we tell you.

What if the numbers don't change?

Before we install, we write down the target the system has to hit, on paper, with your address and the method. After the install we test the same taps the same way. If the after number misses the target, you get your money back. We will give you the full written terms before you agree to anything.

Will I lose water pressure?

A system sized for your home and your flow shouldn't cause a pressure drop you notice. That's why we size tanks to your bathrooms and household, not to a sales sheet. Tell us if pressure is already an issue and we'll check it during the test.

Do I have to buy something after the test?

No. You get the report either way. If your water is already fine, we say so and we don't sell you a system.
